Third Quarter Home Sales Stats for Box Elder County
Home Sales during the Third Quarter were pretty slow for Box Elder County Utah. Just 96 residential properties on the Utah MLS sold. The good news, is that this was only down by one sale compared with a year ago. Most areas in Utah saw significant declines in home sales compared with a year ago. Logan Utah Real Estate saw home sales down 37%.
Still, the real estate market in Box Elder County is very slow. Right now there are nearly 400 residential homes for sale. At the third quarter sales pace, this is more than 15 months of active inventory.
Home prices for Box Elder County Real Estate have also seen a decline over the past year. The average sold price during Q3 was, $141,950. This is down by more than $10,000 from a year ago. In 2007 the median sales price was more than $162,000.
